MV John joins the dship Carriers fleet

MV John, the first D500-class vessel, has joined the fleet of dship Carriers. The first of the ‘Fab Four’!

Groot Ship Design was involved in the project from the early stages, responsible for developing the initial design and tender package. Following the tender phase, the design was taken over by the Chinese shipyard, which further developed the design and proceeded with the construction of the vessel.

We are proud to see the result of the work and close cooperation with our client dship Carriers. It is rewarding to see the initial concept and design evolve into a completed vessel now entering service.

We wish MV John and her crew fair winds and safe voyages and look forward to seeing the other three of the ‘Fab Four’ follow!
