Last week the MV “Vertom Cyta” was officially handed over from Thecla Bodewes Shipyards to her owner Vertom Group.
MV 'Vertom Cyta' is the second vessel in the VERTOM 7000 series. The multi-purpose dry cargo vessels are diesel-electric powered and the modular propulsion concept is designed to be ready for future developments by allowing for methanol-electric propulsion and further contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions.
