AMISCO orders new GROOT 5900XL vessels

Estonian owner Amisco has placed an order for a series of multipurpose dry cargo vessels designed by Groot Ship Design, expanding its fleet with new GROOT 5900XL‑type ships. The contract was signed with Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry and marks an important step in Amisco’s long‑term growth strategy, reflecting ongoing investment in versatile, efficient tonnage. Deliveries of the newbuilds are scheduled in 2027, with steel cutting already underway to kick off the project.
