First Briese Open Top Vessel Porthos delivered

On February 6th 2018 the first Open Top Vessel “Porthos” was delivered from shipyard Zhejiang Zengzhou Shipbuilding Co.
The first (of four) Open Top Vessels according a MPP design of 5,000 DWT with a Groot Cross-Bow®, ices class 1A and open top cargo carrying abilities was delivered to her owners, Briese Chartering. The vessel sails the Dutch flag, is classed according Bureau Veritas and is fitted for unrestricted service. Groot Ship Design provided the design (in close cooperation with the Owner), engineering package and delivery documents / stability booklets.
