On Thursday 24th of March 2022, the more than 105 meter long TSHD “Krakesandt” was christened at Thecla Bodewes Shipyards in Kampen. She is, after sister ship “Anchorage”, the second trailing suction hopper dredger that the yard has built for De Hoop Terneuzen.
Groot Ship Design performed the construction engineering and supplied all cutting documentation for both vessels.
